The Corporate Finance Manager role reports directly to the Chief Finance Officer (CFO) and provides financial advisory and strategic support to the CFO on a variety of topics including project and corporate finance, development of greenfield solar farms, brownfield asset acquisition/valuation, new business opportunities, new energy services finance and other projects requested by Senior Management. The Corporate Finance Manager will also manage the due diligence process, engage various internal business units and external consultants, and structure and negotiate deal terms and conditions.
Oversee the creation and maintenance of detailed financial models for the whole Group, including for various greenfield solar projects, potential M&A transactions, new businesses as well as other corporate/project financing needs.
Be a key part of managing all aspects of planned capital markets activities (private placement, IPO, etc.) and debt financing activities.
Lead efforts to ensure ongoing compliance with terms of all financing agreements, including preparation of related calculations and certificates, in accordance with debt agreements
Support strategic finance initiatives as needed, including the business development team on M&A transactions, from due diligence through integration
Oversee the development of key transaction materials including valuation analysis and management presentations
Perform various economic/financial/valuation analysis of the Company’s business units and any other special/ advanced analysis as directed by the CFO
Develop or revise policies and procedures related to functional responsibilities
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or any related field. MBA, Chartered Financial Analyst (“CFA”) or a Graduate Degree in Finance or any business-related field is preferred.
Preferred work experience in energy, utility, finance or similar industries
Proven ability to work in, and manage, an intra-disciplinary team, including departments of both internal and external parties
Must be an expert in Excel and PowerPoint, specifically in financial modeling and making presentations for top management.
Manage multiple projects concurrently and work effectively as an individual and part of a team
Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to deliver to senior management
Track record of strategic / innovative thought and creative solutions problems, detail oriented, self-starter with initiative to create solutions, hard worker
