JOB SUMMARY:Responsible for the day to day operations and management of the company; provides the leadership necessary to enable the company to attain its customer goals and financial objectives.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1)Directs and organizes the day to day requirements of the company.
2)Provides the leadership and management skills required to ensure that customers are satisfied, employees are motivated properly and owners are informed of the results of operation.
3)As General Manager, you are the company’s top sales person and as such you are responsible for building great relationships with customers.
4)Coordinates with all departments and synchronizes all activities to ensure that everyone in the organization understands our commitments to customers.
5)Reviews, evaluates and approves all financial reports, budgets and expenditures; ensures the timely submission of all reports.
6)Coordinates with manufacturers and principals about orders and other concerns, negotiates prices of equipment and maintains good relationship with them.
7)Controls inventory of stock, ensures timely ordering and avoids keeping inventory for a long period of time.
8)Reviews receivables regularly and assists personnel in collection by resolving issues that are causing collection delays; refers problematic accounts to our legal consultants; grants credit based on approved policies and procedures.
9)Develops systems and procedures in inventory management, financial control, credit and collection in coordination with personnel concerned with these functions.
10)Leads, motivates and inspires the management team, sales personnel and all employees in creating a culture that is customer oriented, cost efficient and honest.
11)Refers issues that affects profitability and corporate image to the Chief Operating Officer and seeks advice and guidance on the proper disposition of major concerns.
12)Evaluates market conditions and recommends new opportunities in improving company performance i.e. new products to be introduced, additional services to be offered and such other innovations and marketing tools to improve customer perception and profitability.
13)Reviews, analyzes, and changes as the case may be, contracts and agreements with principals and clients.
14)Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
