Apple seeks an environmental, health and safety attorney with seven to ten years of relevant experience to join Apple's Real Estate Law organization. We’re looking for an attorney with the following skill set:
• Knowledge of global environmental, health and safety regulations applicable to various real estate facilities Excellent verbal, writing and presentation skills

This position will report to Apple’s Director, Real Estate Law. The attorney’s duties and responsibilities include: (i) advising internal business partners on a broad range of global environmental, health and safety regulatory compliance matters for various real estate facilities including research and development, manufacturing, renewable energy, data centers, recycling, retail and enterprise; (ii) developing strategies that prioritize regulatory compliance and mitigate business risk; (iii) monitoring updates to global facility related environmental, health and safety regulations and developing company-wide compliance procedures; (iv) overseeing environmental regulatory compliance matters, including investigating and responding to requests for information, compliance orders, enforcement actions and citations; (v) providing strategic guidance on managing relationships with various environmental regulatory bodies at all levels including developing communication plans, inspection strategies and best reporting practices; and (vi) supporting environmental due diligence aspects of real estate transactions and mergers and acquisitions, including helping to structure transactions and negotiating and drafting contractual terms to mitigate environmental risk. The job involves on-the-ground legal work as well as participation in strategic discussions on how to best meet Apple’s facility and real estate related environmental, health and safety requirements.
