Speedy Transport Group Inc. is currently seeking a Full-time Ratings Supervisor for our Ratings Department at our Brampton, ON terminal.
The Rating Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing all rating and invoicing processes. Enforcing companyís practices, policies and procedures associated with rating of bills of lading. Ensuring quality rating by auditing and verifying bills. Resolve complex rating issues.
Researching, reviewing and analyzing rates being given
Ensure rating of bills of lading for customers according to customerís rate, service level, exceptions and with high level of accuracy upon proof of delivery.
Ensure accessorial charges are capture and bill to customers.
Supervise issuing of transportation quotes based on demand
Supervise all Invoicing process and ensure invoicing of customers on a daily basis.
Handle special instructions rating such as dedicated service, custom brokerage, revenue only and lumper fee charges to individual customers based on supplierís invoices and lumperís website.
Ensure daily validation of prior day rating for unusual and bogus items.
Approve and process all adjustments and rebills on a daily basis. Assign adjustments and rebills to individual as required.
Un-posting and allocating errors to individual raters based on the Daily Audit process.
Process all Load Link shipments after the audit process has been completed.
Month End printing and processing of reports for timely completion of Month End invoicing.
Field all questions or concerns from rate associates.
Basic training for new associates in rating procedures along with Transportation rating software
Fill in for Rating / invoicing shipments when needed or to cover vacations.
Answer general questions from customers
Other duties as assigned.
At least 5-10 yearsí experience in transportation, supervisory role will be an advantage
Must be detailed oriented, analytical, organized and proficient with computer use
Must possess excellent communication and time management skills
