Lead assigned Engineering group in regional subsidiary to support production/field /product development improvement. Leads cross functional teams comprised of Software, Mechanical, Vision, Systems, Electrical Engineers and Technicians.
Ensure completion of projects from initiation to delivery; inform management of deviations.
Ensure that all changes / enhancements are properly communicated, documented and released.
Interface with upper management to ensure projects have adequate resources, communicate status, and to coordinate resolution of technical issues.
Coordinate with manufacturing project managers to ensure smooth transition of new product into manufacturing.
Directly interact with major suppliers to support product manufacturing quality.
Single point of contact for key customers.
Collect, analyze and support change requests from the field following Quality Management system. Improve product reliability through analysis of field failures using statistical analysis methods.
BSME, MS degree is highly desired.
Minimum of seven to ten years experience with product development directly related to complex electro-mechanical systems/precision automated equipment; proven leadership skills. Knowledge and understanding of project monitoring and reporting systems. Experience managing cross-functional teams.
Matrix management team leading experience; knowledge of semiconductor packages / processes and manufacturing processes. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated success in leading projects to completion. Strong organizational skills. Solidworks experience
