Job description:
Provide On-site mechanical services on trucks and heavy duty vehicles.
- Repair units to haul freight without damages.
- Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings and vital parts to ensure that they are in proper operating condition.
- Inspect, test and listening to defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using test instruments such as handheld computers, motor analyzers, chassis charts and pressure gauges.
- Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment and machinery.
- Adjust and reline brakes, align wheels, tighten bolts and screws and reassemble equipment.
- Repair or replace defective parts, components or systems.
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance.
Job Requirements:
- Completion of Secondary School.
- 3-5 years of experience.
