Job Requirements:
● Bachelor’s Degree
● Pollution Control Officer with document controller experience
● Knowledgeable on RoHS, REACH and chemSHERPA
● With Valid PCO Certificate
Job Responsibilities:
● Coordinating the Environmental Management System Program to help
reduce the generation of the company waste
● Establish proper mitigation on pollution controls in the environmental
aspect and impact on air, land, water, flora and fauna and human living.
● Provide and establish Company Objective, Targets and Programs that will
help the Company and the organization on the preservation of our natural
resources.
● Attend to the requirements of the establishment or agency prior to the
construction or installation of pollution control facilities including the
application and securing of necessary pollution permits and renewal
thereof.
● Provide technical support to line Management with respect to legal and
regulatory requirements, permits, record keeping, etc.
● Monitor activities pertaining to the installation or constructions of pollution
source and control facilities with the end in view of ensuring the
compliance with the air, noise and water quality standard.
● Check / monitor the daily operation and maintenance of pollution control
facilities.
● Maintain cooperation with the DENR. PEZA or any concerned government
agency.
● Undertakes inspections, surveys and assessment of premises, and
undertakes investigations and environment monitoring, to establish the
need for action.
● Handle other matters of environmental concern as required by the
employer.
