Our client, a leading insurance group, is looking for Software Engineers with Node.JS experience to implement various new initiatives in the insurance space. This role would also require full-stack development including frontend on ReactJS or VueJS. Great opportunity and challenge.
Responsibilities:
Take part in life insurance software applications across development, implementations, and support.
Provide hands-on technology development on Java-based Technology, Node.JS, and Javascript.
Responsible for solution design and technical details for the applications.
Work with highly skilled developers, BAs, and QAs.
Responsible for the technical design and development across Front to Back. Manage database structures and design.
Work with various IT teams including Security, Infra & Cloud, Operations, and Architecture in aligning the application solutions.
Requirements:
Hands-on development experience with around 2 6 years of experience.
Hands-on experience in Java, Node.js, JavaScript, and/or TypeScript.
Hands-on experience in front-end technologies, such as React JS and Vue JS, proficient in HTML5, and CSS3 and using Webpack to pack Node JS frontend components.
Hands-on experience with Cloud, API, and Microservices technology.
Strong SDLC experience across software integration, testing, and quality assurance.
Experience with Agile and CI/CD is a great plus.
Excellent communications skill in Cantonese / Mandarin and English.
Bachelors degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
