Food Safety Coordinator
PeopleReady ofHonolulu, HI is now hiring Food Safety Coordinators!The Assistant Food Safety Coordinator aids with the development and management of qualityassurance programs, to ensure compliance with USDA regulations, company policies and foodsafety standards Participates in Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) reassessments,in addition to, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) andSanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) revisions. Assists with overseeing andimplementation of the company's Food Safety and Quality Assurance (FSQA) Plan by schedulingmonthly and/or weekly sampling and testing of raw material, finished products, and pre-operational food contact surfaces.

Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this job is $21 / Hour
What you'll be doing as a Food Safety Coordinator:
This position manages non-meat ingredients and will be responsible for documenting usage onProduction Reports and Ingredient Inventory Logs.
Assist with receiving and organizingingredients by lot to ensure they are used according to FIFO.
Investigates discrepancies withproducts and reports findings to administration
Assist with HACCP reassessments, SSOP and SOP revisions. Ensures program
compliance with company, regulatory and third-party audit requirements and/orregulations.
Participate in Mock Recalls, Management Reviews, and Internal Audits.
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly record review associated with Critical Control Points(CCPs), Pre-shipment Log and prerequisite programs.
Assist with third-party audits, prepare management and supervisors.
Manages and coordinates FSQA sampling and testing on equipment and product.
Identify trends, determine root cause, and communicate results with management.
Ensures all sanitation equipment are in acceptable condition and reagents are diluted to
specified concentrations.
Performs daily GMP checks and label verification.
Assist Production Manager and Supervisors with post-op sanitation inspections.
Verify and/or calibrate monitoring equipment.
Inventory and manage non-meat ingredients.
Tracks and records ingredient usage on appropriate reports and/or logs.
Organizes ingredients by lots and ensure they are pulled according to FIFO.
Scales ingredients according to recipe and adjust quantity based on raw material (asnecessary).
Calculates and documents net weights and marination yields.
Assists Production Manager, Supervisors and Warehouse employees with productionentries.
Performs other related duties as required.
