Exchange Connectivity Support Engineer Leading Investment Bank

Our client, a leading investment bank, is looking for an exchange connectivity support engineer, to support Exchange Connectivity Systems across various exchanges and market data applications. Perm position to work with global counterparts.

Key Responsibilities:
– Provide analysis and troubleshooting for exchange connectivity platforms and Market Data applications across Asia.
– Support daily trading operations including High Touch and Low Touch Cash Equities Trading.
– Provide incident management and resolution across technical issues.
– Manage software upgrade rollout.
– Work with the engineering team and product teams to improve and prevent outages with future designs and systems.
– Communicate with external clients on technical support.
– Partner with the account management team to provide a proactive engagement with the clients.
– Coordinate with IT teams for projects and system implementations.
– Work with support teams on application issues and business projects.

Requirements:
– Around 5 years of financial trading platform support experience in Exchange Connectivity applications and exchange gateways for Asian Markets.
– Experience in supporting Market Data applications like Reuters, and Bloomberg.
– Excellent knowledge of Cash Equity business in a DMA/DSA, Agency, and Program Trading environment.
– Good knowledge of exchange rules of major Asian markets like Hong Kong, China CONNECT, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Australia, India, Indonesia, etc.
– Exposure to Trading Systems monitoring tools like KIBANA, Grafana, Logstash, Elastic Search, ITRS, etc.
– Technical Knowledge in Oracle, SQL, and Stored Procedures.
– Exposure to scripting languages like Shell / Perl Scripting would be a great plus.
– Good team player with excellent interpersonal skills
– Excellent command of English, you will be working in a global international environment.
– Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
