Minimum Education Requirement: Completion of High School
Work Experience: 2-3 years work experience in the related
field.
Job Location: 12290 97 Avenue Surrey BC, V3V 2C9 and various locations in Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley region as per the construction sites.
Duties:
1. Read sketches and blueprints to calculate the materials required
2. Cut and trim bricks/stones by hand or power tools to get the required shape and dimensions
3. Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, stone, structural tiles, and similar materials to construct or repair walls, foundations, and other structures in residential and commercial construction
4. Lay bricks, stone, or similar materials to provide veneer-facing to walls or other surfaces in residential and commercial buildings
5. Construct and install prefabricated masonry units
