Job Duties:
Analyze the restaurant’s financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and food industry regulations.
Prepare income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports specifically for restaurant operations.
Conduct audits of restaurant revenue, inventory, and expense processes to identify financial discrepancies or inefficiencies.
Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasting food, labor, and operational costs based on restaurant trends.
Monitor key performance indicators such as food cost percentage, labor cost ratio, and daily sales.
Oversee payroll processing, ensuring proper calculation of wages, tips, and statutory deductions for restaurant staff.
Maintain financial controls to prevent fraud, waste, or theft in cash handling and inventory usage.
Coordinate with restaurant managers and suppliers to ensure accurate financial tracking of purchases and vendor payments.
Use restaurant POS and accounting software to track real-time sales and expense data.
Provide financial insights to restaurant ownership on pricing strategies, expansion decisions, and profitability improvements.
