Position Title :Painting & Coating QC Inspector
Location : Saudi Arabia
Salary : 6000- 8000/month
Certification - ARAMCO Approval, ISO , CBT
Experience- 8 -15 years
Mandatory Requirements:
A degree or diploma in Painting & Coating Technology, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in painting and coating inspections or quality control in construction or industrial settings.
Relevant certifications in painting/coating inspection (e.g., NACE Level 1 or 2, SSPC certification).
In-depth knowledge of painting and coating materials, application techniques, and inspection methods.
Familiarity with local and international standards (e.g., ASTM, ISO) for coatings and painting systems.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to work sites as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect the preparation of surfaces (e.g., cleaning, priming, and sanding) before the application of coatings to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Monitor and verify that all painting and coating applications (including primers, topcoats, and special coatings) meet project specifications and industry standards.
Perform inspections of coating thickness, adhesion, curing times, and other quality parameters.
Conduct environmental and surface condition checks to ensure proper application of coatings (e.g., temperature, humidity, surface cleanliness).
Maintain records of inspections, material certifications, and test results to ensure compliance with quality control requirements.
Collaborate with contractors and project engineers to resolve issues related to coatings and ensure rework is completed as per specifications.
Ensure the proper storage, handling, and application of paints, coatings, and related materials to prevent contamination or degradation.
Prepare and review documentation related to quality control processes, including non-conformance reports and corrective action plans.
Conduct final inspections to ensure all coatings meet the required standards for finish, coverage, and overall quality.
Stay up to date on industry trends, new coating technologies, and applicable codes or standards related to coatings and painting.
