Quality Time Childcare Centre Inc. at 2865 Cruickshank St in Abbotsford, BC is hiring Early Childhood Educator Assistant for full time and permanent position. Duties would be to assist senior staff in monitoring children in indoor/outdoor activities, conduct and engage the children into developmentally oriented programs, attend children’s physical needs (toileting, diapering, eating, sleeping), report written observations of children to senior staff, assist in housekeeping and cooking duties, attend staff meetings to discuss the progress/problems of children, help early childhood educators in keeping records, prepare snacks and lunch rooms for children. Minimum work of 30 to 40hrs/week will be given along with 2 days off per week. Experience of 7 months or more as in childcare is required. Minimum education is completion of Secondary School is required. Completion of an early childhood education assistant certificate program is an asset. Must be proficient in English.
