Z & R Enterprises Ltd dba Gulberg Tandoor and Donair Restaurant at unit-119-12578-72 Ave in Surrey, BC requires Line Cooks for a full – time permanent position. Job duties would be to set up kitchen stations, to cook food for service (making sauces, gravies etc.), to follow and execute chef direction for preparing individual dishes and meals, to comply with nutrition and sanitation/hygiene regulations, clean up station and store leftover food, to manage and train staff, prepare plate presentation procedures, determine size of food portions, to track and report food waste issues. Experience of minimum 1 year as line cook is required. No formal education is required. Knowledge of various ingredients and cooking methods, equipment and procedures would be an asset. Salary will be $19.00/hour. Language required is English. Must be available at weekends and evenings. Work will be min. 35 to 40 hours per week, along with 2 days off per week.
