Our client, a leading insurer, is looking for a junior Mobile / Web Developer (React) to join the team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain mobile and web applications using React Native, Expo, Next.js, React.js, and TypeScript, ensuring high performance and scalability.
- Integrate and call RESTful APIs to connect applications with backend services, ensuring seamless data exchange and functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and backend developers, to deliver user-friendly, responsive applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and company standards.
- Troubleshoot and debug application issues, optimizing performance and resolving defects promptly.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to enhance team deliverables.
- Work with regional IT teams to align on development standards, support cross-border projects, and ensure consistent application deployment.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to enhance application functionality.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience in application development.
- Proficiency in React Native, Expo, Next.js, React.js, and TypeScript for building modern applications.
- Strong knowledge of calling and integrating RESTful APIs for seamless backend connectivity.
- Familiarity with MongoDB or MS SQL Server is a plus.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) for effective collaboration with regional teams.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
