A global quant trading firm is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Post-Trade Operations Specialist to join their rapidly expanding team. In this role, you'll be the backbone of their trading activity, ensuring trades are executed and settled smoothly from start to finish. You'll gain broad exposure to post-trade operations, including settlements, reconciliations, and reporting
Responsibilities:
- Support daily operational activities related to the trading desk
- Work closely with traders, clients, and clearing firms to quickly resolve issues
- Drive automation and process improvements to streamline workflows
- Leverage tools to improve reporting and analysis
- Collaborate with the technology team to test and implement new solutions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in trade support or a similar role
- Knowledge of various asset classes, including equities, derivatives, ETFs, and fixed income
- Strong skills in Excel are a must; VBA, SQL, or Python is a plus
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure
- A self-starter with excellent communication in English and problem-solving skills
