We are seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer for a forward-thinking financial institution that operates throughout Asia, providing a wide array of secure and efficient financial solutions. Responsibilities:
- Deliver technical support for cloud platform elements, including management interfaces, virtual private clouds, security configurations, routers, switches, SDWAN, firewalls, load balancers, and both Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Support Kubernetes platforms, creating automation scripts and templates for resource provisioning, and maintaining CI/CD workflows alongside IaC tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
- Facilitate new project rollouts, system development, and collaborate with development teams to transition applications to cloud environments.
- Implement new cloud services, establishing standards and procedures for service optimization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, or a similar discipline.
- Over 5 years of relevant experience, preferably from sizeable banking/ insurance/ financial corporations
- Skilled in managing K8S solutions on cloud platforms like EKS/AKS, including capacity management, persistence volume setup, service mesh, and addressing network, security, and upgrade challenges.
- Competent in system infrastructure, cloud technology, IaC, DevOps automation tools, and scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, JavaScript, and JSON.
- Proficient in English and Cantonese communication, Mandarin speaking skills would be an advantage
