Our client, a well-established securities company, is seeking a Web3 Project Manager who will be instrumental in managing the development and deployment of decentralized applications, blockchain integrations, and cryptocurrency-related features. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison among business users, developers, stakeholders, and the broader community to ensure that projects meet the set objectives, deadlines, and industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including defining scope, setting realistic timelines, allocating resources, and establishing key milestones.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, product, marketing, and community, to align on priorities and dependencies.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks related to smart contracts, blockchain integrations, and decentralized architectures.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, challenges, and deliverables.
- Oversee testing, security audits, and reviews, particularly for smart contract deployments and on-chain features.
- Maintain clear and detailed project documentation, including specifications, progress reports, and user guides.
- Monitor project budgets, manage vendor relationships, and optimize resource allocation.
- Coordinate with community managers to ensure product development aligns with the needs of our users and contributors.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
- At least 5 years of experience in project management, with a strong background in blockchain, Web3, or crypto-related industries.
- A deep understanding of blockchain protocols, DeFi, NFTs, and DAOs.
- Familiarity with the smart contract development lifecycle and open-source ecosystems.
- Knowledge of compliance, KYC/AML, and regulatory frameworks within the crypto landscape.
- Proficiency in agile methodologies, project management tools, and version control systems.
- An analytical mindset and a genuine passion for emerging technologies.
- The ability to work independently within a distributed and diverse team
