Our client, a leading global consultancy, is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to oversee a significant cloud migration project. This role involves managing outsourced deliverables, enforcing quality standards, and driving continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle. Strong leadership, technical expertise, and stakeholder management are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a Quality Assurance Framework to ensure the quality of the software development lifecycle across strategy projects.
- Oversee the testing process to ensure all aspects of the cloud migration are thoroughly tested.
- Collaborate with product owners and IT stakeholders to prioritize backlogs and deliver solutions through environments and into production.
- Lead and manage a testing team, ensuring successful testing activities and high-quality deliverables.
- Define and establish quality standards and procedures for cloud migration.
- Communicate testing progress, issues, and risks to project stakeholders and management.
- Provide guidance and support to team members on QA best practices.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to the established QA strategy.
- Continuously improve the QA process based on project feedback and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in QA, including mobile and web application testing.
- Solid experience with QA Governance models and quality assurance processes.
- Familiarity with IT SDLC and experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with Azure Services, such as Logic App, ADF, and Databricks, is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English and Cantonese.
- Focus on collaboration and stakeholder management.
- Ability to design and write complex software testing procedures and compile detailed test reports.
