Highland Railing & Gates Ltd. at 103 – 8277 129 St in Surrey, BC is hiring welders for full-time and permanent position. Duties would be to read and interpret designs and blue prints to fabricate gate, grills and other items as per specification. Fuse iron, aluminum or other metal bars and pieces using various welding processes. Cut the metal sheets and bars into required sizes. Operate and setup welding machines such as Spot, ARC. Operate bending and shear machines to bend and straighten metal pieces. Minimum education as completion of high school is required. Minimum experience of 1 year or more as welder is required. Minimum work of 30 hours to 40 hours per week will be given along with 2 days off. Salary of $ 32.50/hr will be given. Must be able to communicate in English. Other benefits as per company policy.
