The Opportunity
Our client is a key financial authority responsible for regulating and maintaining an efficient financial market. As an Analyst Programmer, you will play a direct role in developing and enhancing the essential applications that underpin these important functions, contributing to technology that has a real-world impact.
What You'll Be Doing
This is a hands-on development role where you will be responsible for the full software development lifecycle.
- Hands-On Java Development: Write clean, efficient, and high-quality code to modify and enhance existing programs based on detailed functional and technical specifications, ensuring adherence to coding best practices and version control.
- Champion Code Quality: Design and execute comprehensive unit tests and support System Integration Testing (SIT) to ensure your code is robust, reliable, and meets all quality criteria before advancing to the next stage.
- Drive Test Automation: Proactively identify opportunities and adopt modern tools, such as Katalon, to build and implement automated regression tests, improving the efficiency and accuracy of the testing process.
- Collaborative Problem-Solving: Provide crucial support to QA teams during testing phases, effectively troubleshooting, managing, and resolving any technical issues that arise.
- Maintain Clear Documentation: Diligently update and maintain technical documentation throughout the enhancement cycle to accurately record all changes and logic.
What You'll Bring
We are looking for a proactive developer with strong technical acumen and a collaborative spirit.
Experience & Qualifications:
- A university degree or professional qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of solid, hands-on experience in Java application development.
- Experience within the financial services, banking (FSI), or a similar regulated industry is a significant advantage.
Core Technical Skills:
- Skilful coding experience in Java/J2EE for multi-tier or Microservices architectures.
- Strong proficiency with the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Security, MVC) and data persistence layers (MyBatis, JPA, Spring Data).
- Experience with front-end technologies like React JS / Ant Design.
- Solid skills in Oracle databases and PL/SQL programming.
- Prior experience with test automation tools like Katalon is highly beneficial.

- Strong command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
- An assertive and active team player with excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
