You will act as the crucial link between senior business leaders in Sales & Trading and global technology teams. Your mission is to translate complex business challenges into tangible, cutting-edge technology solutions, managing projects from initial concept through to successful implementation across Asia.
What You'll Do: Your Impact
As a key member of the team, you will be empowered to:
- Lead & Deliver: Take full ownership of high-impact technology projects for a key trading business. You will drive everything from business analysis and feasibility studies to front-to-back testing and final deployment.
- Strategize & Analyze: Partner directly with the Front Office to understand their needs, analyze complex workflows, and define the technology roadmap. You'll manage the project pipeline and help prioritize initiatives that deliver maximum business value.
- Connect & Influence: Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and development teams. You will build strong relationships, provide expert guidance, and communicate project status, risks, and successes to senior management.
- Innovate & Improve: Drive regional business expansion, new product launches, and regulatory change initiatives. You will constantly seek opportunities to enhance existing systems and champion technology innovation within the firm.
Who You Are: Your Skills & Experience
We are looking for a results-oriented leader with a passion for solving complex problems.
Essential Skills:
- Experience: 8-10+ years of professional experience as a Business Analyst or Project Manager, gained from a leading financial institution or a major management consulting firm.
- Financial Knowledge: A strong understanding of the financial services industry, particularly the trade lifecycle in a Sales & Trading environment.
- Project Mastery: Proven expertise in hands-on IT project management, with a solid grasp of the Project Lifecycle (PLC) and System Development Lifecycle (SDLC). You are skilled at managing multiple demands and delivering under pressure.
- Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication, influencing, and negotiation skills. You have a demonstrated ability to build consensus and work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
- Analytical Mindset: Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure solutions to poorly defined problems.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in MS Project, MS Excel, and the broader MS Office suite.
Skills That Will Set You Apart:
- Product Expertise: Direct experience with complex financial products (e.g., Fixed Income, Rates, Credit, or other derivatives).
- Regulatory Acumen: Familiarity with the regulatory landscape and market structures governing Asia's financial markets.
- Large-Scale Delivery: A track record of successfully delivering large-scale regulatory or business transformation programs within capital markets.
