Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a global IT Infrastructure and Operations team. Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement, ensuring the team's objectives are perfectly aligned with the company's strategic vision.
- Infrastructure Modernization & Oversight: Architect and oversee the company's global technology infrastructure, including networking, servers, and cloud services. Drive the optimization of their Nutanix VDI environment, ensuring peak performance and cost-efficiency.
- Business Continuity & Security: Spearhead the company's Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategy. You will lead critical infrastructure projects, including potential data center relocations, to guarantee operational resilience. Partner with the cybersecurity team to implement and fortify security protocols across the entire infrastructure.
- Financial & Vendor Management: Develop and manage the IT infrastructure budget with a focus on maximizing ROI. Lead vendor negotiations and manage relationships to ensure the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective services and technologies.
- Global User Support & Collaboration: Champion world-class IT user support for a diverse, global workforce. Act as a key technology partner to other business departments, understanding their needs and delivering robust infrastructure solutions that empower them to achieve their goals.
What We're Looking For
- Extensive Experience: A minimum of 15 years in IT Infrastructure and Operations, with significant experience in a leadership role within a global organization, preferably in manufacturing or a related industry.
- Technical Expertise: Deep, hands-on knowledge of Networking (Cisco principles), Server Infrastructure, IT User Support models, and Virtualization technologies, with specific, proven expertise in Nutanix.
- Proven Leadership: A track record of successfully managing and developing diverse, high-performing technical teams.
- Project & Budget Mastery: Demonstrable experience in managing large-scale, complex IT projects (such as BCP/DR or relocations) from conception to completion, including meticulous budget planning and financial oversight.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Fluency in both English and Cantonese is essential for effective communication with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is highly preferred.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, or similar, are a strong asset.
