Our client, a leading global investment bank, is looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to join their Prime Brokerage Front Office technology team. This role sits close to the business and will partner directly with Sales, Trading, and Client Service to deliver technology solutions across trade capture, client reporting, financing, and risk. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Prime Brokerage knowledge and front-office exposure to lead high-impact initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of IT projects supporting Prime Brokerage Front Office workflows.
- Partner with Sales, Trading, and Client Service to understand business needs and translate them into technology requirements.
- Gather, document, and prioritise functional requirements across trade capture, financing, margining, and risk reporting.
- Oversee execution, ensuring milestones, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Provide governance and senior stakeholder reporting on project status, risks, and issues.
- Work closely with development, QA, infrastructure, and operations teams to deliver scalable and resilient platforms.
- Drive regulatory change projects impacting the Prime Brokerage business (e.g., margin reform, client asset protection).
Requirements
- Strong experience as a Project Manager or hybrid BA/PM in investment banking technology, Ideally from a technical background.
- Solid understanding of Prime Brokerage products and front-to-back workflows (trade capture, financing, securities lending, reporting).
- Proven track record delivering technology solutions for front office or client-facing businesses.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to face off to senior front office users.
- Good technical acumen across trade systems, risk platforms, data integration, and reporting.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related discipline.
