Job Description: We are looking for enthusiastic and knowledgeable tutors to deliver online lessons via Tagber.com’s video calling platform. As a tutor, you will work with students primarily based in China and all over the world, offering personalized instruction in various subjects, including but not limited to Math, Science, English, History, and more. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere in the world with a stable internet connection. Your personal number is never given out. Calls will be coming in from our server.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging, interactive, and tailored tutoring sessions via Tagber.com’s video calling platform.
Teach students across a range of subjects and academic levels (elementary, middle school, high school, or higher education).
Prepare lesson plans and materials to meet the individual needs and goals of students.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.
Track and report student progress, providing feedback to students and parents as needed.
Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and cultural backgrounds.
Maintain reliable communication with students and the Tagber team to ensure smooth session scheduling and delivery.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in education, teaching, or a relevant field (preferred but not mandatory for all subjects).
Strong expertise in one or more academic subjects (e.g., Math, Science, English, History, etc.).
Experience teaching or tutoring, preferably in an online or virtual setting.
Fluency in English; proficiency in Mandarin or other Chinese languages is a strong advantage, but not required.
Comfortable using video calling platforms and basic technology for online teaching.
Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, professional workspace.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with cultural sensitivity for working with Chinese students.
Passion for education and helping students achieve their academic goals.
Preferred Qualifications:
Teaching certification or relevant tutoring experience.
Familiarity with the Chinese education system or international curricula (e.g., IB, AP, A-Level, etc.).
Experience using online teaching tools or platforms like Tagber.com.
Ability to teach specialized subjects (e.g., coding, test prep for IELTS/TOEFL, etc.).
