Silverton, Pretoria: PETROL MECHANIC (x2)
Minimum Requirements:
-Reliable male with sober habits and in good health
-Able to write and communicate in Afrikaans / English
-Red Seal Certificate a must
-Strong recent experience as an automotive petrol mechanic a must (not apprentice experience), specifically in German models / light vehicles a must (bakkies, passenger vehicles, motorcycles etc.)
-Experienced in engine and gearbox repair, mechanical / electrical fault finding, diagnostics and general repairs essential
-Fully independently functional a must, and able to work under deadlines
-Valid driver's license and own transport
-Strong attention to detail and able to attend to timekeeping and job cards documentation very important
-Residing in Pretoria (within daily commuting distance from Silverton)
-No lawful termination at any previous employer due to misconduct or non-performance
-Stable employment record and contactable / traceable employment references a must
-To start as soon as possible
Work hours: Mondays to Fridays from 7am-5pm and Saturdays from 8am-1pm
Duties:
-Full automotive mechanic duties for automotive repair and maintenance service workshop
-Engine and gearbox repair, mechanical / electrical fault finding, diagnostics and general repairs on light vehicles, specifically German brands
-Keep accurate records of maintenance work and parts used.
-Completion of job cards and timekeeping documentation
Salary: R 18 000.00 – R 25 000.00 gross (Depending on relevant experience)
