Our client, a prominent insurance group, is seeking a Business & Data Analytics Specialist to support agency operations and strategic initiatives by delivering high-quality analytics solutions, reports, and insights.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction to support key metrics tracking.
- Deliver regular and ad-hoc reports on daily operations, progress, contests, and monthly targets.
- Perform business analysis and provide insights to improve agent and sales performance.
- Work closely with technology teams, support teams, and business units, ensuring effective communication and understanding of data initiatives.
- Develop dashboards using Power BI.
- Conduct data quality checks and resolve issues related to data consistency or integrity.
- Engage in system enhancement and report automation projects to streamline operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or MIS.
- Proven experience in analytics with a strong focus on key performance metrics, customer retention, or lead management.
- Experience working in the insurance industry is a significant plus.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and MS Excel, with experience in business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
- Familiarity with Databricks and PySpark is a plus.
- Quick learner with robust analytical capabilities and the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
