Hours and place of work:
Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays
7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The primary environment for this position is our waste disposal site in Sainte-Sophie .
Your responsibilities as a Heavy Equipment Operator I at WM:
Every day, you will work at one of our waste management sites serving over 20 million customers across North America. You will be responsible for operating heavy equipment such as bulldozers, graders, and front-end loaders. This role is essential to our work, and your contribution will be recognized and valued.
Our heavy equipment operators develop their careers working on machines that require a high level of skill and determination. Our waste management sites have strict procedures in place to ensure the safety and well-being of all our employees.
Your main tasks include:
Operate heavy equipment in accordance with company safety policies and procedures
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment; maintain accurate records
Move and position raw materials and finished components using material handling equipment
Follow standard operating procedures for vehicle operation and maintenance
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements to be considered:
1 year of experience in operating heavy equipment
Be over 18 years old
Be legally authorized to work in Canada
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations
Pass the pre-employment drug test and medical examination
