| Description: |
Our client is a world-leader in wealth management, providing bespoke financial advice and solutions to ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, and foundations.
This role sits within the central Chief Operating Officer (COO) Group, a dynamic team that acts as the strategic engine for the business. You will be part of the transformation pillar, focused on driving operational excellence and business transformation across the entire platform.
The Role
This is a unique and highly visible position for a strategic thinker who loves to solve complex problems. You will act as an internal consultant, tasked with conducting deep-dive analyses of existing business processes, identifying inefficiencies, and designing future-state solutions.
Success in this role is not just about finding the problem. It requires a rare ability to "tell the story"—articulating the why and how of a proposed change to secure buy-in from senior management, front-office advisors, and support teams.
What You'll Do
- Analyze & Map: Conduct end-to-end reviews of critical business operational processes (e.g., client onboarding, asset movement, reporting, trade support).
- Identify & Solve: Use your deep curiosity to "ask the right questions," uncovering hidden bottlenecks, manual workarounds, and control gaps.
- Design & Innovate: Develop and propose streamlined, scalable "to-be" processes, leveraging both procedural enhancements and new technology.
- Influence & Communicate: Build and present compelling business cases for change. You will be the storyteller who drives alignment and consensus.
- Partner: Act as the key bridge between the private banking business and internal Technology partners, translating business needs into actionable requirements.
Who You Are
We are looking for a candidate who is smart, curious, and an exceptional communicator.
- Experience: Proven experience (likely 5-10+ years) in a role focused on process improvement, business analysis, internal consulting, or business management.
- Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of Private Banking, financial services, or banking operations is essential. You must understand the business process you are being asked to improve.
- The Storyteller: You are more than just articulate. You have outstanding presentation and influencing skills. You can distill complex ideas into simple, persuasive narratives for senior audiences.
- The Problem Solver: You are intellectually curious and analytical. You are driven to understand why things work the way they do and are not satisfied with surface-level answers.
- The Collaborator: You have high emotional intelligence (EQ) and the ability to build strong relationships, navigate a complex global firm, and manage stakeholders with diplomacy and tenacity.
- Tech Fluency: You are not expected to be a developer. However, you must be "tech-savvy" and able to speak credibly with technology partners about solutions, data flows, and platforms.
