Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Accounting
At least 1-5 years of experience in end-to-end cash application process
Amenable to attend interviews
Willing to work on a Shifting schedule
Can start as soon as possible
Job Responsibilities:
Process and apply customer payments (checks, ACH, wires, credit cards) to appropriate invoices in the accounting/ERP system.
Review and reconcile daily cash receipts, ensuring accuracy and timely posting.
Research and resolve payment discrepancies, unidentified cash, and short/over payments.
Monitor lockbox activity and electronic remittance advices for proper allocation.
Collaborate with the Collections, Billing, and Customer Service teams to ensure correct and efficient cash application.
Prepare daily and monthly cash reports, assisting with month-end close and AR reconciliations.
Maintain accurate and organized documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy within the cash application process.
