Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Accounting
At least 1-5 years of experience in end-to-end cash application process
Amenable to attend interviews
Willing to work on a Shifting schedule
Can start as soon as possible
Job Responsibilities:
Process and apply customer payments (checks, ACH, wires, and credit cards) to the appropriate invoices within the accounting or ERP system.
Review and reconcile daily cash receipts, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely posting.
Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, including unidentified cash and short or overpayments.
Monitor lockbox activity and electronic remittance advices to ensure proper allocation and documentation.
Collaborate with the Collections, Billing, and Customer Service teams to ensure accurate and efficient cash application.
Prepare and maintain daily and monthly cash reports, supporting month-end close and accounts receivable reconciliations.
Maintain accurate and organized documentation to support audits and ensure compliance with company policies.
Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and overall cash application performance.
