Position: Japanese Manager (Software Development Team)
Work Location: Makati City
Salary: Php 100,000 – Php 150,000 per month (depending on IT experience and language proficiency)
Company Industry: IT Company
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Weekends off)
Work Set-up: Onsite

This will be prorated depending on the regularization date
For every 3 years that the employee has stayed with the company, the latest version of the iPhone is lent to the employee.
The iPhone is returned upon resignation
Every 3 years thereafter, the old iPhone will be returned to the company and the latest version of iPhone will be lent again
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
At least JLPT N3, or above is preferred, but open to non-JLPT passers with strong Japanese communication skills.
Open to Native Japanese | Negotiable in processing VISA
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Computer Engineering
Must have good verbal and written communication skills
High level of accountability and professionalism
Proven managerial leadership experience, specifically leading a technical or software development team
Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development
Experience working with Japanese companies or clients; understanding of Japanese business culture and communication norms
Proactive and results-oriented approach to project planning and team management
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leadership and Guidance: Directly manage and mentor a team of approximately 10 software development professionals, fostering a collaborative, high-performance work environment.
Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular team evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and handle related performance improvement discussions.
Process Improvement: Plan and propose improvements to team processes and workflows to maximize efficiency and quality.
Administrative Oversight: Accurately track and manage team attendance and related administrative tasks. Recruitment and Hiring
End-to-End Hiring: Manage hiring process for team openings, including preparing job posts, candidate screening, scheduling and conducting interviews, evaluation, and coordinating the final job offer arrangement.
Bridging Communication: Support project communication between the local team and our Japanese stakeholders. This includes interpreting and clarifying project requirements, updates, and feedback.
Project Assistance: Step in to support members on development projects when technical guidance or additional resources are needed.
