Responsibilities:
1. Financial Management & Reporting
~ Prepare and review timely, accurate financial statements, management reports, and
performance analyses for multiple entities.
~ Consolidate financial results across subsidiaries and provide insights to management
and stakeholders.
~ Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity positions; recommend actions to
enhance financial stability.
2. Budgeting & Forecasting
~ Develop annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and rolling projections aligned with
business objectives.
~ Track variances between actual and budgeted results, providing actionable insights
to management.
3. Compliance & Governance
~ Ensure full compliance with MFRS, Companies Act 2016, tax laws, and other
statutory obligations.
~ Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
~ Maintain effective internal controls to safeguard assets and uphold financial integrity.
4. Cost Control & Profitability
~ Analyze cost structures, production expenses, and profitability across business units.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements while maintaining
product quality.
~ Support pricing strategy, product margin analysis, and financial modeling for new
initiatives.
5. Treasury & Financing
~ Manage banking relationships, financing facilities, and foreign exchange exposure
for export transactions.
~ Ensure adequate funding for operational and investment needs.
6. Leadership & Team Development
~ Lead and mentor finance team members, fostering growth, accountability, and
collaboration.
~ Work closely with production, sales, procurement, and other departments to align
financial objectives with operational goals.
7.Strategic & Business Support
~ Provide financial insights to support strategic planning, business development, and
investment decisions.
~ Participate in risk management, M&A assessments, and project evaluations.
8. Financial Control & Policy Compliance
~ Develop and strengthen group-wide financial control policies and procedures.
~ Regularly review and update finance SOPs to ensure accuracy, transparency, and
compliance.
~ Ensure consistent accounting and reporting standards across all entities.
Qualifications & Requirements
Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) or Degree in
Accounting/Finance.
Strong command of Chinese language (spoken and written); proficiency in English
and Bahasa Malaysia required.
Minimum 5 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 2–3 years in a
managerial or controller exposure within a manufacturing environment.
Proven experience in multi-entity financial operations and consolidation.
Sound knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, corporate tax, and statutory
compliance.
Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
Proactive, analytical, and hands-on leader with strong problem-solving and
decision-making capabilities.
