Position: Japanese Accountant - CPA (Work from Home)
Company Industry: Accounting Firm
Work Location: Makati City, but Work from Home
Salary: Php 100,000 – Php 130,000 (Negotiable)
Work Set-up: Work From Home (Onsite attendance required during monthly/quarterly team meetings or as requested by the client)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Open to Filipino who can speak Japanese Language
No JLPT certificate required
Can speak Basic to conversational Japanese
Open to Japanese speakers of all levels
Open to candidates without a JLPT certificate (it's not required)
Open with any job experience working in an auditing or accounting firm
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related course
At least 3–5 years of experience in accounting or auditing.
Preferably a CPA, but a non-CPA who works in an Accounting, auditing, and related firm is very welcome to apply
Familiarity with Japanese GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
Deep understanding of Japanese business culture and financial regulations
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leads audit fieldwork, including planning, budgeting, internal control evaluation, and issue resolution.
Prepares and reviews financial statements, schedules, notes, and management letters in both English and Japanese contexts
Assess audit risks and tailor audit approaches based on client environments and financial statement assertions.
Manages audit engagements in accordance with auditing and accounting standards
Assists managers in planning the audit engagement
Guide the Japanese clients about business permit, Japanese Taxes concerns, accounting laws and other operation related inquiries
Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and alert the CFO if necessary.
