Our client, a leading brokerage firm, is seeking an experienced Tech PMO to take on a key role within the IT COO office. The person will be responsible for strategic program delivery, project governance, and acting as a primary liaison between global IT leadership and corporate headquarters.
Key Responsibilities
- Govern all IT projects in accordance with established PMO guidelines and policies.
- Manage and deliver strategic, enterprise-level programs from initiation to closure.
- Act as the primary liaison with headquarters, ensuring alignment and smooth execution of IT strategies.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports for department heads and senior management.
- Review and update PMO guidelines and policies as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related discipline.
- Approximately 10 years of relevant PMO experience in financial services (e.g., Investment Banking, Brokerage) or technology firms.
- Strong understanding of the PMO function and the value it brings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivots, reconciling large datasets, and basic analytics) is required.
- Experience with project management tools, budgeting, working with vendors, and offshore teams is a plus.
- Knowledge of investment banking front/back-office flows and project management tools is a plus
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin.
