Our client is a top-tier global financial institution embarking on a major digital transformation initiative within their Group Data Technology space. They are building a cutting-edge, comprehensive data cataloging solution that connects business processes, products, and services across multiple business units. This is a high-visibility project involving massive data lakes, advanced analytics, and AI/ML integrations.
The Role: We are seeking a Technology Solution Architect to lead the technical design of this enterprise-scale platform. You will act as the bridge between business strategy and engineering execution, designing a system that transforms raw data into actionable business insights using Cloud and AI technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architectural Leadership: Define the detailed solution design and system architecture, ensuring all products are supported by robust, scalable, and cost-effective technical structures.
- AI & Data Strategy: Design solutions with a strong "AI/ML flavor," utilizing big data tools (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow) to drive product direction and business insights.
- Story & Requirement Decomposition: Translate high-level business requirements into actionable technical stories and product specifications for the engineering teams.
- Governance & Security: Ensure all designs align with platform architecture, roadmaps, and strict enterprise security standards (DevSecOps). You will govern decisions regarding deviations from reference architectures.
- Stakeholder Management: Manage risks, dependencies, and design decisions across multiple value streams. You will facilitate peer reviews and ensure traceability of design decisions.
Key Requirements:
- Cloud Expertise: Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is highly preferred. Experience with Azure or AWS will be considered if accompanied by exceptional data/AI skills.
- Technical Stack: Hands-on background in Data and AI/ML technologies, including Big Data tools (Spark, Hadoop) and AI models/frameworks.
- Industry Experience: A background in Banking/Finance is strongly preferred due to the regulatory and governance nature of the work. Candidates with deep data/AI experience from other complex industries will be considered.
- Language Skills: Must be fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin to communicate effectively with the regional engineering teams and stakeholders, alongside professional English proficiency.
- Soft Skills: Proven ability to manage risks, identify cross-platform dependencies, and drive solutions in an agile environment.
