Our client is a highly established, top-tier financial institution in Hong Kong known for its stability and strong market presence. They are currently seeking a Senior Manager to lead the firm's cloud infrastructure operations team, drive the reliability, compliance, and daily operations of the infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Take full ownership of the firmwide IT infrastructure's health, drive the schedule for system evergreening, major upgrades, disaster recovery (DR) drills, and maintenance windows.
- Manage internal teams and external Managed Service Providers (MSPs). Ensure vendors meet their SLAs and that projects are delivered on time.
- Act as the primary escalation point for critical infrastructure incidents. Lead the “war room” during outages, coordinate troubleshooting with vendors, and ensure root cause analysis is documented.
- Ensure the platform remains compliant with strict banking regulations. This includes managing audit requirements, security standards, and operational documentation.
- Oversee the operational budget, handle RFPs for new solutions, and manage maintenance contract renewals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Fintech, or related field
- 15–20 years of total IT experience, with a solid foundation in legacy infrastructure (Server, Network, Virtualization) and modern Cloud environments
- Capable of leading technical teams in the IT infrastructure operations, running complex DR drills, executing BCPs, and delivering continuous improvement
- Has experience in designing and implementing automation solutions for IT operations
- Excellent command of spoken and written Chinese and English
