As part of the production support group, you’ll be the first line of defense for system stability and performance. You’ll work across diverse business lines—from client trading and lending to proprietary strategies and risk management—while collaborating with developers and global colleagues to keep operations seamless. Responsibilities:
- Deliver front-line support for trading, settlement, lending, and risk platforms.
- Lead automation and tooling initiatives to reduce manual intervention and improve efficiency.
- Monitor system performance, proactively identify issues, and ensure continuous uptime.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications built in Java and Python.
- Partner with engineering teams to roll out fixes and enhancements that strengthen resilience.
- Coordinate with international support teams to provide round-the-clock coverage.
- Maintain clear documentation, runbooks, and operational playbooks.
- Serve as a trusted contact for clients, ensuring timely resolution and transparent communication.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to boost reliability and scalability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 4+ years of production support or engineering experience, ideally within financial services or trading environments.
- Strong command of SQL and proficiency in at least one programming language (Java or Python preferred).
- Hands-on experience with incident management, root cause analysis, and structured problem-solving.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to precision and quality.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build effective client relationships.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
