Fast Frost heating and air conditioning ltd. located at Unit-11, 8528, 123 Street Surrey, BC is hiring a gas fitter for full-time and permanent position. Work will be at various locations across lower mainland.
Duties:
• Study drawings and specifications to determine the layout of the installation and materials required
• Measure, cut, thread, bend, and install replacement piping.
• Install and maintain gas meters and regulators and gas lines between gas unit and gas meter
• Install, maintain and service gas heating units and their components, such as burners, valves and automatic controls
• Test and replace defective equipment or components
• Inspect and test pipelines and equipment for leaks and faulty connections.
• Attend to gas escape calls and assist in the investigation of gas fires and explosions
Requirements
• Must be able to communicate in English
• completion of high school is required
• Experience of one year or more is required.
• Must have Gas fitter trade certificate or be eligible to apply for certificate.
Hours of Work: 30 to 40 hours per week.
Wage: $40.00/hr
