Education – Secondary (High) school Experience - 2 years or more
On site - Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Duties include:
o Review and interpret plans, specifications or drawings to determine of articles to be made
o Measure and mark outlines and dimensions of parts on wood.
o Operate woodworking machines, including power saws, jointers, mortisers, and shapers, as well as hand tools, to cut, shape, and form parts and components.
o Assemble and fit parts and subassemblies together to create a complete unit, using glue and clamps, and reinforce joints with nails, screws, or other fasteners
o Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to complete the products
o Restore, repair or modify wooden fixtures and related items
