Experience: Minimum one year experience as Framer – Carpenter is required
Job details:
Salary: $37.00 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week
Location: Various locations in BC
Skills
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and building plans to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join wood, wood substitutes, light steel, and other materials.
• Build, assemble, and install wood and metal framework for walls, floors, roofs, and other structures.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and other finishing components.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machines to construct and repair structures.
• Ensure structures are aligned, level, and square according to specifications.
• Install floor joists, roof trusses, and wall studs.
• Select and prepare materials required for framing projects.
• Follow building codes and safety regulations on-site.
• Collaborate with other construction workers, trades, and supervisors to complete projects on time.
• Inspect and repair damaged framework or structures when required.
