Position: Junior System Engineer
Industry: IT/BPO
Location: Makati City, Metro Manila

Compensation: Php 25,000-35,000 gross

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field
Familiarity with Linux hosting tools (Apache, NGINX, SSL, DNS, MySQL)
Basic knowledge of PHP and scripting for automation tasks
Understanding of virtualization and container platforms (VMware, Docker, Kubernetes, KVM) across cloud environments (AWS, GCP, etc.)
Minimum of 1 year experience in customer support or web hosting (cPanel, Plesk, WHM, FTP, CMS such as WordPress, domain/email management)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure solutions following industry best practices
Administer servers (Linux/Windows) with focus on security, backup, and redundancy
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and collaborate with developers for resolution
Develop and maintain scripts to automate processes and reduce manual workload
Document procedures and create knowledge base entries for IT operations
