Nair Systems is currently looking AWS Cloud & DevOps SRE Engineer for our UAE operations with the following terms & conditions.
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
· Minimum 57 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps/SRE roles.
· Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, EKS, etc.).
· Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
· Experience with EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) and OpenShift for container orchestration.
· Solid experience with Docker and Podman for containerization.
· Hands-on experience with GitLab, including GitLab CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
· Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, or Go).
· Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
· Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
· AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, DevOps Engineer, or Solutions Architect).
· Experience with GitLab pipelines, Security, Deployments, etc.
· Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks (e.g., CIS, NIST, ISO 27001).
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and support AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
Operate and optimize container orchestration platforms including Amazon EKS and Red Hat OpenShift.
Build and manage containerized applications using Docker and Podman.
Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).
Automate deployment pipelines and CI/CD workflows using GitLab CI/CD and other DevOps tools.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth application delivery and infrastructure scalability.
Implement and enforce security best practices across cloud and container environments.
Participate in on-call rotations and incident response to ensure system uptime and reliability.
