Creating Smiles Educational Society at 9341 126 Street in Surrey, BC V3V 5C4 is hiring Early Childhood Educator Assistant for full time and permanent position. Duties would be to assist senior staff in monitoring children in indoor/outdoor activities, conduct and engage the children into developmentally oriented programs, attend children’s physical needs (toileting, diapering, eating, sleeping), report written observations of children to senior staff, assist in housekeeping and cooking duties, attend staff meetings to discuss the progress/problems of children, help early childhood educators in keeping records, prepare snacks and lunchrooms for children. Minimum work of 30 to 40hrs/week will be given along with 2 days off per week. Minimum education is completion of Secondary School is required. Completion of an early childhood education assistant certificate program is an asset. Experience of 7 months or more as in childcare is required. Must be proficient in English. Salary is $ 24.00/hr.
