Permanent Position: Early Childhood Assistant (NOC #42202)

Location: Langley, BC
Wage Rate: $23.00 Hourly, for 35-40 hours per week
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, day, morning, overtime if required.
Education: Licensed as BC ECEA required.
Experience: Experience is an asset.
Languages: English.
Job Duties:
• Assist early childhood educators in developing various programs for overall child development.
• Interact with children with various activities including art, storytelling and music.
• Assist the children in proper hygiene practices such as eating and dressing.
• Observe the children and prepare reports for early childhood supervisors.
• Arrange meals for children, and maintain and order daycare equipment as required.
• Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children
• Discuss child progress with parents and senior educators.
Other Requirements: Criminal Record Check, First Aid Certificate required
