A well-established wholesale business is seeking a driven and target-focused Internal Sales Consultant to support customer acquisition and revenue growth within the branch.
This role requires a proactive individual who is comfortable making high volumes of calls daily, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and closing sales while maintaining strong administrative discipline.
You will play a key role in supporting branch profitability, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring operational compliance.
Minimum Requirements:
Matric / NQF Level 4 (essential)
Minimum of 2 years internal sales experience
Experience within a wholesale or retail environment
Technical experience in refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment (advantageous)
Computer literate (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Syspro)
Physical ability to handle stock
Completion of required internal training modules
Must be a Motswana (essential)
Duties and Responsibilities:
Sales & Revenue Growth:
Achieve daily sales and profit targets as agreed with management.
Generate new business by proactively contacting customers and qualifying opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to promote long-term profitability and order growth.
Work closely with channel partners and suppliers to support sales objectives.
Customer & Technical Support:
Provide customers with accurate product information and technical support where required.
Liaise with customers and suppliers in a professional manner to strengthen branch performance and customer satisfaction.
Administration & Operational Support:
Ensure all daily sales administration and documentation are accurately processed.
Perform daily cash-ups and ensure financial accuracy.
Handle stock responsibly, including physical movement where required.
Compliance & Branch Support:
Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, and SHEQ standards.
Maintain and promote the company’s professional image within the market.
Support the long-term growth and profitability objectives of the branch.
