Join our client's dynamic Project Team focusing on the digital transformation of New Business (NB) and Underwriting workflows. As a UAT Tester, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Straight-Through Processing (STP) and AI-driven automation initiatives. You will bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation through rigorous testing and validation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive UAT test cases based on business requirements and functional specifications for STP initiatives.
- Identify, log, and track system defects; collaborate closely with Business Analysts, IT developers, and vendors to ensure timely resolution.
- Create and maintain vital system validation artifacts, including test plans, test scripts, bug reports, and user guides.
- Assist in testing advanced analytics and AI-assisted workflows (e.g., automated underwriting rules and decision support systems).
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with business users to facilitate User Acceptance Testing and provide post-implementation support to ensure a smooth transition to live operations.
Experience & Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in the Insurance or Financial Services industry.
- Proven experience in UAT for Insurance Operations Systems.
- Familiarity with the full SDLC process.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Visio).
- Knowledge of testing tools (e.g., Jira, ALM) is a plus.
- Strong analytical mindset with an eye for detail. Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese (Cantonese).
- A proactive problem-solver who enjoys working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
