What You Will Do
- Architect & Build: Design robust, decoupled microservices using Java 17+ and Spring Boot to power core payment flows (Refunds, Settlements, Onboarding).
- Scale for Performance: Develop low-latency integrations with external payment gateways and regulatory-compliant services (ISO 20022).
- Engineering Excellence: Implement secure, testable code with a "DevOps mindset," focusing on observability, distributed tracing, and automated CI/CD.
- Collaborate & Innovate: Work in an Agile squad to define new features, enhance fraud/risk engines, and ensure system resilience during peak transaction volumes.
What We Are Looking For
- Java Mastery: You have 3–8 years of deep backend experience with Java (8/11/17) and the Spring ecosystem (Boot, Cloud, Security).
- Modern Stack: Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker/Kubernetes, and relational databases (Oracle/PostgreSQL).
- Event-Driven Design: Proficiency with messaging systems like Kafka for real-time data processing.
- Domain Expertise: A solid understanding of the payments landscape (FPS, Mobile Wallets) and security protocols (OAuth, Encryption, PCI-DSS).
- Communication: Fluent English is essential; Cantonese or Mandarin is a significant advantage for local collaboration.
