The Opportunity
We are representing a long-standing and highly respected Single Family Office in Hong Kong. This is a rare leadership opportunity for a seasoned IT professional to step into a "trusted advisor" role, overseeing the technology strategy and operational resilience for the family’s private interests and core investment management arm.
The Mandate
- Technology Stewardship: Define and execute the IT roadmap, ensuring a seamless, high-security digital environment for the private office and family principals.
- Investment Infrastructure: Act as the technical lead for an active investment team, ensuring the high availability and performance of Bloomberg Terminals, Portfolio Management Systems (PMS), and banking connectivity.
- Cybersecurity & Data Privacy: Spearhead institutional-grade security protocols (ISO27001/NIST standards) to safeguard sensitive financial data and personal digital assets.
- Hands-on Leadership: Lead a dedicated technical team across infrastructure, applications, and high-touch executive support.
- Business Partnering: Work closely with senior leadership to leverage technology for operational efficiency, digital transformation, and business continuity.
The Ideal Profile
- Experience: 12–15+ years in IT leadership within Private Banking, Asset Management, or a Family Office.
- Hybrid Skills: You possess a rare blend of strategic vision and a "roll-up-your-sleeves" technical mindset. You are as comfortable discussing cybersecurity architecture as you are ensuring white-glove support for VIP users.
- Technical Depth: Deep familiarity with financial trading systems and modern cloud/infrastructure ecosystems.
- Soft Skills: Impeccable discretion, high emotional intelligence, and the maturity to navigate a private, high-stakes environment.
